CHECKLIST - - - - - - - - this checklist has been designed to help you through the registering, applying, and roleplaying processes in an organized way. we suggest going through this list in order to get the most out of the forum's full experience. the first section has the simple checklist, while the second checklist will have more in depth information.
1) the first thing you should do is read the rules and the cbox rules. after you have read the rules, be sure to also read the plot. the plot is also very fundamental to the forum. if you are still interested in joining the forum, then feel to register at this point. otherwise, you may register any time.
2) so now you may be wondering what characters are available! we are currently accepting original and canon characters at this time. first, we would like you to look at the needed characters thread to see if any of those interest you. we also have a canon list for your availability. if you are interested in creating an original character, then we also suggest looking at this thread with information on the tailed beasts and the wanted board.
3) we suggest reading both the training guide as well as the battling guide for information on how to train and battle on the forum. both guides may look long, but they are both actually very fast reads. they are also purely just guidelines and not 100% set in stone.
4) now you may be ready for the application! make sure to only post your application in the pending board when your application is finished.
5) look at this application for an example. most of the beginning of the application is pretty self-explanatory. for your chakra points, click here for information. then you will eventually come across the weapons and equipment. click here for a composed list of available weapons and equipment. you may, however, create your own if you wish. finally, the data table. look at step 6 for details on the data table.
6) for those who are familiar with the data table, then it should not be a problem to fill it out. keep in mind, for everyone, you are not to have a total of 40 points, nor should you exceed 35.5 points (unless special permission given).
7) once you have completed the application, you must wait to be approved before you may post in any of the IC boards. however, you are welcome to post in any of the OOC character boards. at this time, if you haven't already, we suggest introducing yourself to get to know the members. after you have been accepted, you may move on to the next step.
8) make sure to reply to the face claim, which everyone must reply to. also here is the xp xchange and the training request. now you have finished all of the required steps! 9) we suggest working towards developing your character even further, or at least looking in this board to see the available content. all sub and mini-plots can be found in this board, as well as a thread to create your own sub and or mini-plot.
10) if you are a shinobi, it's important to remember all that information you previously read about training and battling in step one. if you are from one of the great five shinobi nations and are a shinobi of one of those five villages, then you will notice that if you go to your respective land's board, and then click on the administration building, there are quite a few things waiting for you there, including team sign-ups, mission availability, and current missions. also, make sure to add your name and characters to the member directory.
11) well, that's it! now you are more than prepared to start roleplaying! keep everything above in mind while roleplaying, and we promise you a valuable roleplaying experience on this forum. but, most of all, just remember to have fun! if you have any questions, feel free to ask one of three ways: via the Cbox, via the designated questions board, or by PMing any administrator. we hope you enjoy your stay here!

1) the first thing you should do is read the rules and the cbox rules. the rules go over a variety of aspects of the forum, as well as regulations that must be followed. after you have read the rules, be sure to also read the plot. the plot is also very fundamental to the forum. if you are still interested in joining the forum, then feel to register at this point. otherwise, you may register any time.
2) now it's time to get to know the forum a little better. after you have registered, more boards and categories will have opened up for viewing. we first suggest that you take a look at the boards and categories, just to get an idea of what is included. so now you may be wondering what characters are available! we are currently accepting original and canon characters at this time. first, we would like you to look at the needed characters thread to see if any of those interest you. we also have a canon list for your availability. if you are interested in creating an original character, then we also suggest looking at this thread with information on the tailed beasts.
3) now you may have a character in mind, or you may not. it's okay! before getting started with the application, it's also very important to get to know more details on how the forum works. we suggest reading both the training guide as well as the battling guide for information on how to train and battle on the forum. both guides may look long, but they are both actually very fast reads. they are also purely just guidelines and not 100% set in stone.
4) now you may be ready for the application! make sure to post your application in the pending board, and to indicate with [IC] if the application is unfinished. also, your subject title should be LAST NAME, FIRST NAME. you may have noticed that accepted applications have (AS) or something similar at the end of their name. these letters stand for the ninja-rank (if applicable). now, it's time to fill out the application.
5) look at this application for an example. most of the beginning of the application is pretty self-explanatory. when you get to clan, if you wish to create a clan, then you may indicate that you will be requesting to create a clan (which can be done in step three), but do not provide any other details of the clan. when you get to the playby, make sure to put the playby in this format: playby name from anime/game title. fill out the rest of the application as the application explains. then you will arrive at the chakra section, where things get a little more complicated. for the kekkei genkai, if your character is a canon and has a kekkei genkai, then describe it as it says. if you wish to create your own kekkei genkai, then you may say in that section that you will be applying for one. however, do not describe the kekkei genkai at all. for your chakra points, click here for information. for jutsu, the same as the kekkei genkai applies. if you wish to use jutsu that are already standard jutsu (click here for a complete list of all canon jutsu), then you may list them in the format shown in this example application (if possible, use the english name for the jutsu). otherwise, if you wish to create your own jutsu, then you may indicate there that you are going to be creating your own jutsu. do not, however, explain any details of this jutsu. then you will come across the weapons and equipment. click here for a composed list of available weapons and equipment. you may, however, create your own if you wish. finally, the data table. look at step 6 for details on the data table.
6) for those who are familiar with the data table, then it should not be a problem to fill it out. keep in mind, for everyone, you are not to have a total of 40 points, nor should you exceed 35.5 points (unless special permission given). nonetheless, for those who are not familiar, here are the details. each category can have a maximum of 5 points. the lower ninja-rank you are, the lower these points will be (although most ninja will be able to specialize in one specific category). take a look at this link, which links to the second official data book. if you are a canon character, we ask that you use the second data book's data (if available). if an original character, then take a look at either accepted applications, or look through the data books from that link.
7) once you have completed the application, you must wait to be approved before you may post in any of the IC boards. however, you are welcome to post in any of the OOC character boards. at this time, if you haven't already, we suggest introducing yourself to get to know the members. after you have been accepted, you may move on to the next step.
8) now we are on step three! step three includes all of your character claims, including the face claim, which everyone must reply to. also included in this board are the threads to create new jutsus, clans, summons, and kekkei genkai. also here is the xp xchange and the training request. now you have finished all of the required steps! 9) we suggest working towards developing your character even further, or at least looking in this board to see the available content. all sub and mini-plots can be found in this board, as well as a thread to create your own sub and or mini-plot. many of these plots can be related to missions. here you can also find a board to plot with characters to make relationships (this board would be specific to relationships only). there are also boards to keep track of your threads, ask for certain characters, as well as a quick way to communicate with other characters.
