welcome to konoha, a new era! we are a semi-literate roleplay forum set at the beginning of the shippuden timeline. we have canon and custom arcs coming your way, so make sure to keep an eye out for any upcoming events! we are also looking for any ideas for missions, so if you have an idea in mind, please don't hesitate to contact a staff member.

THIS COUNTRY IS ONE OF THE LARGEST AND MOST POWERFUL COUNTRIES. ITS GOVERNMENT LEADER IS THE FIRE DAIMYO. THE LAND OF FIRE WAS THE FIRST COUNTRY TO ADOPT A NINJA VILLAGE, A CUSTOM OTHER COUNTRIES WOULD SOON ADOPT. THE LAND OF FIRE TYPICALLY HAS VERY BRIGHT AND WARM WEATHER. WHILE NOT THE LARGEST COUNTRY, IT HAS THE LARGEST HIDDEN VILLAGE.
THE LAND OF WATER IS COMPOSED OF MANY ISLANDS, WITH EACH HAVING ITS OWN UNIQUE TRADITIONS. THE COUNTRY'S WEATHER IS TYPICALLY COOL AND FULL OF MIST AND LAKES. IN SOME PLACES IT IS VERY COLD AND SNOWS QUITE A BIT. THIS LAND TENDS TO STAY OUT OF POLITICAL AFFAIRS, LEAVING IT A RATHER REMOTE COUNTRY.
THE LAND OF EARTH IS MOSTLY COMPRISED OF DESOLATE, ROCKY AREAS. THE BORDER OF THE AND OF EARTH RUNS ALONG A ROCKY MOUNTAIN RANGE, BLOCKING COMMUNICATION WITH OTHER COUNTRIES. THE WIND BLOWING FROM THE NORTH PASSES OVER THESE MOUNTAINS, CARRYING SMALL ROCKS FROM THE LAND OF EARTH TO THE SURROUNDING COUNTRIES. THIS FAMOUS NATURAL PHENOMENON IS CALLED "ROCK RAIN".
THIS COUNTRY COVERS A VAST REALM, BUT THAT REALM IS LARGELY COMPRISED OF DESERTS. BECAUSE THERE IS VERY LITTLE RAINFALL THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY LIVE IN VILLAGES BUILT ON ONE OF THE DESERT'S MANY OASES. DESPITE THE COUNTRY'S EXTREMELY HARSH ENVIRONMENT, IT HAS A LARGE POPULATION.
IN THE CENTER OF THE COUNTRY ARE VAST MOUNTAIN RANGES, WHOSE MANY THUNDERSTORMS ARE SAID TO GIVE THE COUNTRY ITS NAME. FROM THESE MOUNTAIN RANGES, MANY RIVERS FLOW TO THE SEA, CREATING A VERY CROOKED COASTLINE THAT DISPLAYS AN IMPRESSIVE OCEANIC BEAUTY. THERE ARE MANY HOTSPRINGS LOCATED WITHIN THE COUNTRY.

itachi is an open character! itachi is a member of the akatsuki and serves as kisame's partner. he is a member of the uchiha clan, and sasuke's older brother. he needs to be taken by a talented roleplayer.
kisame
kisame is an open character! kisame is a member of the akatsuki and serves as itachi's partner. he is from kirigakure, an ex-member of the seven swordsmen of the mist. he needs to be taken by a talented roleplayer.
sai
sai is an open character! he is a new member of team kakashi, and actually takes the place of sasuke uchiha. sai is a member of root and uses ink jutsu. he needs to be taken by a talented roleplayer.
canon arc 1: kazekage rescue
the kazekage has been kidnapped by the akatsuki, and they're doing a very good job at hiding his tracks. fortunately, gaara's sand shield is melting away, leaving tiny bits of sand behind to help lead his rescuers in the right direction. teams will need to be sent to rescue the kazekage before it's too late. please note that this arc is still pending and is not permanent or guaranteed.
